Application
- Synthesis of Yellow Fluorescence Carbon Dots: 4-Aminobenzoic acid is used to produce yellow fluorescence carbon dots, highlighting its application in vitamin B(12) detection and cell imaging (Zhao et al., 2023).
- Enhanced Production of 4-Amino-3-Hydroxybenzoic Acid: 4-hydroxybenzoate 3-hydroxylase was engineered to convert glucose into 4-amino-3-hydroxybenzoic acid in Corynebacterium glutamicum, illustrating a biotechnological application of 4-Aminobenzoic acid (Nonaka et al., 2023).
- Electrochemical Sensor Development: The compound was used to functionalize diazonium salt modified screen-printed graphene electrodes, creating a rapid diagnostic tool for detecting interleukin-6 (IL-6), relevant in sepsis diagnosis (Jesadabundit et al., 2023).
