Application

This Anti-Norepinephrine Transporter Antibody is validated for use in ELISA, WB for the detection of Norepinephrine Transporter.
Western blot: 1-10 μg/mL (Chemiluminescence technique): NET can exist is at least two forms, a highly glycosylated ~80kDa form is the most common in brain, and a lessly glycosylated 54kDa form is also seen in some regions and tissues.

ELISA: 1:10,000-1:100,000 (50-100 ng immunogen peptide/well) Optimal working dilutions must be determined by the end user.

Biochem/physiol Actions

Specific for Norepinephrine Transporter (NET). Norepinephrine Transporter is a 617 amino acid long integral membrane protein belonging to the Sodium:Neurotransmitter Symporter family (Bruss et al. 1995; Melikian et al. 1994; Pacholczyk et al. 1991) The immunogen peptide shows no significant homology with other other known proteins.

General description

80 & 54 kDa

Immunogen

A 22 amino acid peptide sequence mapping to the 1st extracellular domain of rat NET.
