Gene Information

human ... ZFP36L1(677)

General description

As a member of the ZFP36/tristetraprolin (TTP) family of zinc finger proteins, ZFP36L1 serves as an RNA-binding protein (RBP) that is known to interact with AU-rich elements in the 3’-untranslated region of mRNAs, resulting in their degradation. It serves as a target for Keratinocyte-derived growth factors and cytokines. ZFP36L1 is reported to play an important role in various physiological processes, including wound healing, epidermal homeostasis, inflammation, erythroid differentiation, thymocyte development, and in the prevention of malignant transformation. Defects in the ZFPP36L1 gene have been implicated in Mutiple Sclerosis and cancer.

Specificity

This antibody recognizes the C-terminus of ZFP36L1.

Immunogen

Epitope: C-terminus
KLH-conjugated linear peptide corresponding to the C-terminus of Human ZFP36L1.

Application

Anti-ZFP36L1 detects levels of ZFP36L1 proteins & has been published & validated for use in WB.
