The '100X' indicates that the solution is in a concentrated form and may be diluted to a “1X” concentration for use. A 1mL volume of a 100X concentrate is sufficient to prepare or supplement 100mL of a final product, such as a culture medium. Likewise, 1mL of a 1000X concentrate is sufficient to prepare 1L of the final product. The concentration of this product at 100X is 10 mM in DPBS.
