General description

Yellow fever virus is an arbovirus of the Flavivirus genus, the cause of acute viral haemorragic disease transmitted by mosquitoes. Symptoms of yellow fever include fever, headache, jaundice, muscle pain, nausea, vomiting, and fatigue, and in serious cases, death.
