General description

Metabolic syndrome is characterized by a cluster of conditions including insulin resistance, obesity, dyslipidemia, and chronic inflammation. This panel—Amylin (active), C-Peptide 2, Ghrelin (active), GIP (total), GLP-1 (active), GLP-1 (total), Glucagon, IL-6, Insulin, Leptin, MCP-1/CCL2, Pancreatic Polypeptide (PP), PYY (total), Resistin, Secretin, and TNFα—captures key indicators of metabolic and inflammatory regulation. The MILLIPLEX® Mouse Metabolic Hormone Expanded Panel enables multiplexed quantification of these biomarkers in mouse serum or plasma, supporting research in obesity, diabetes, and metabolic disease.

Questions

  1. The protocol cites samples loaded can be at most 10uL neat, does this mean there is some capacity to dilute samples /load less than 10 uL and still be able to run the plate efficiently. If this is the case, what are the limits?

    1 answer
    1. Dilution may be required for some sample types, however the maximum volume of neat serum or plasma is 10 uL.
