General description

5′NT/CD73 and ARG1 are markers of liver function and metabolic activity. GOT1 and SDH are enzymes released during hepatocellular injury, while GSTα reflects oxidative stress and detoxification. Together, these biomarkers provide a comprehensive view of liver damage and function in rat models.

Application

MILLIPLEX® Qualified assays undergo rigorous assay development, verification, and Quality Control testing to achieve optimal performance. Simultaneously analyze up to 5 analytes rat serum or plasma samples.

Analytes Included: 5′NT/CD73, ARG1, GOT1, GSTα, SDH

Assay Characteristics: Refer to the assay protocol for details on cross-reactivity, sensitivity, precision, and accuracy

Features and Benefits

Features:

  • Multiplex detection of 5 liver injury biomarkers in one assay
  • Magnetic bead-based format for efficient and reproducible processing
  • Compatible with rat serum, plasma, and tissue lysates
  • High sensitivity for early detection of hepatocellular damage
Benefits:

  • Conserves sample volume and reagents through multiplexing

Questions

  1. Is the Rat Liver Injury Panel (RLI1MAG-92K) kit cross-reactive to mouse or other mammalian species?

    1 answer
    1. The multi-species cross-reactivity data for the Rat Liver Injury Panel is attached. Please note that this is based on 4 samples from each species and standards were not tested to determine the amount of cross-reactivity. For samples below detection, the lack of signal may not necessarily indicate an absence of cross-reactivity and could be due to low levels in the few samples tested.
