Hi, how long should we incubate the copper probe with the cells? Also, what are the recommended incubation conditions (e.g., temperature, duration, and any other specific requirements)?
1 answer -
Could you please provide information on the concentration and use of the Biotracker Green Copper Live Cell Dye (SCT041)?
1 answer-
The Biotracker Green Copper Live Cell Dye (SCT041) is provided as a lyophilized powder, hence no specific concentration is provided.
Preparation instructions are as follows:
1. Preparation of the reagent: CopperGREEN is a colorless solid. Before opening the vial, spin down the solid to the bottom by a microcentrifuge.
2. Warm the vial to room temperature and add 50 μl of DMSO to one vial to make a 1 mM stock solution. Dissolve the crystal completely by careful pipetting. The solution will also be a colorless liquid. Use a neutral buffer solution for dilution of the stock solution. It's important to note that CopperGREEN could be oxidized in acidic solutions. For further details, please refer to the article and internal information.

What is the detection range of this probe for copper concentration?
1 answer-
Unfortunately, the minimum intracellular level of Cu+ that the probe can identify has not been established. The recommended usage concentration in culture medium is 5 uM. In the cell-free system, the probe can detect Cu+ at a concentration of more than 0.2 µM.
