General description

ATP is a 100mM solution of the lithium salt (pH 7).

Application

ATP, lithium salt has been used as a component in:
  • loading buffer
  • in vitro transcription reaction mixture
  • ligation mix

Biochem/physiol Actions

Adenosine triphosphate (ATP) is a central metabolite, which acts as an energy transfer molecule, a phosphate donor and a signaling molecule inside the cells. This extracellular signaling molecule also serves as a neurotransmitter in peripheral and central nervous systems. In the peripheral nervous system, ATP participates in chemical transmission.

Components

Contents
ATP, lithium salt, 100mM

Quality

Typical analysis:
97% ATP (HPLC), ≤1.5% ADP (HPLC), ≤0.5% AMP (HPLC)
Tested for the absence of RNases according to current Quality Control procedures
