General description

Hamilton syringe is available in gas-tight type that minimizes the gas exchange in GC analysis. It gives accurate volume delivery. The plunger is mostly unsurpassed.[1] The tip is threaded in a luer lock syringe allowing the needle to be tightly screwed to the tip.[2]

Application

It has been used in controlling the flow rate of the liquid samples and mobile phase during ion-pair solvent extraction performed in a microchannel fabricated in a quartz glass chip.[3]
