Description

General description

The product is water containing 0.1%v/v formic acid and 20%v/v acetonitrile that can be employed for HPLC and UHPLC (Ultra High performance Liquid Chromatography) techniques. This pre-blended mobile phase solvent is of high purity that reduces time-consuming preparation and prevents instrument downtime because of impure mobile phases. Formic acid is used as mobile phase additive.[1] Acetonitrile (MeCN), an organic solvent[2] has low viscosity, high elution strength and is UV transparent at low wavelength.[3]
