Description

General description

Viridiflorol belongs to the class of aromadendrene sesquiterpenoids,[1] isolated from the leaves of Salvia officinalis and detected in leaves of Salvia triloba.[2]

Application

Viridiflorol may be used as a reference standard in the determination of viridiflorol in different types of Chinese eaglewood using gas chromatography coupled with mass spectrometry (GC-MS).[3]
