Tetrahydrofuran (THF), an organic compound which belongs to saturated cyclic ether group. It is mainly used as solvent for PVC and organoalkali compounds. It is also used in lithium batteries.

Application

THF has been used to realise PVC membrane from electrode, during a study to design, fabricate and electrochemically characterize miniaturised thin- and thick-film Ag/AgCl reference electrodes.
