Application

Isobutyryl-L-carnitine may be used as an analytical reference standard for the separation and identification of underivatized isobutyryl-L-carnitine in human plasma samples using high-performance liquid chromatography coupled to tandem mass spectrometry (HPLC-MS/MS).
