Features and Benefits

LightOx17 is a fluorescent molecule that exhibits solvatochromatic fluorescence emission when excited with UV-A and violet (405 nm) light sources. In a cellular environment it exhibits predominately mitochrondrial localisation and, when activated by UV-A or 405 nm absorption wavelengths, elicits the release of reactive oxygen species (ROS) for controlled, localised cell death.

Product can be used with our line of photoreactors: Including Penn PhD (Z744035) & SynLED 2.0 (Z744080)
