Application

Sulfur in diesel fuel oil (nominal mass fraction 0.4%) is intended for use in evaluation of methods and calibration of instruments used to measure total sulfur content in fuel oils or materials of a similar matrix.

Features and Benefits

  • Certified mass fraction value is metrologically traceable to SI-derived unit.
  • Details of expiration date, homogeneity, and storage, handling, and use instructions are provided on NIST certificate.
  • Non-certified values of physical properties such as density, flash point, kinematic viscosity, oxidation stability, and carbon and hydrogen contents are also available on the certificate as well.

Other Notes

Certified for the analytes listed below.
Sulfur (S)

Reference/Informational value is provided for the following analytes.
Carbon (C), Hydrogen (H)

See certificate for values and more details at nist.gov/SRM.
