Description

General description

Pyrazinamide is an analog of nicotinamide. It is an antituberculosis drug and plays a vital role in reducing the duration of chemotherapy of tuberculosis.

Application

Pyrazinamide may be used as a pharmaceutical reference standard for the determination of the analyte in pharmaceutical formulations by liquid chromatography and multivariate spectrophotometry.
