Description

General description

Pharmaceutical secondary standards for application in quality control provide pharma laboratories and manufacturers with a convenient and cost-effective alternative to the preparation of in-house working standards.

Application

Rifabutin can be used as a reference standard for the determination of the analyte in human serum and human plasma using HPLC-UV methods.

Rifabutin is an antibiotic; antitumor.

Rifabutin is an antibiotic; antitumor. Rifabutin interferes with HSP-90 molecular chaperone, enhances ubiquitination and protein degradation, and inactivates bacterial RNA polymerase.
