General description

Α-Terpinyl acetate, a monoterpene ester, is a commercially important fragrance molecule. It can be prepared from α-pinene in the presence of H-beta zeolite catalysts.[1] The essential oils obtained from Stachys setifera ssp. iranica,[2] Chamaecyparis obtuse leaves[3] and Thymus willkomii contain Α-terpinyl acetate as one of the main components.[4]

  2. Hi, Please what is the percentage of terpinyl acetate in this product? And may I know the number of isomers in it? Waheed

    1. This product is released under the CAS number 80-26-2, which is specific to the alpha isomer. However, other isomers are not measured for this product. The minimum purity specification is 95% by GC. Please see the link below to review a sample or lot-specific Certificate of Analysis:
