  Aminoallyl-dUTP-Cy5 is recommended for direct enzymatic labeling of DNA or cDNA, such as by PCR and Nick Translation. This product is incorporated as a substitute for its natural counterpart, dTTP. The resulting dye-labeled DNA or cDNA probes are ideally suited for fluorescence hybridization applications, including FISH or microarray-based gene expression profiling. Optimal substrate properties and labeling efficiency are ensured by an optimized linker attached to the C5 position of uridine. The product is supplied in a concentration of 10 nmol.
