Synthetic peptide directed towards the middle region of human IKBKG

Anti-IKBKG antibody produced in rabbit is suitable for western blotting at a concentration of 1.25 μg/ml.

Biochem/physiol Actions

The Inhibitor of nuclear factor-κB (IκB) kinase (IKK) complex is a central regulator of NF-κB signaling and activation of target genes. The IKK complex is made up of IKK1, IKK2 and NEMO or IKK γ. Two subunits of NEMO bind the IKK1-IKK2 heterodimer to make up the IKK complex. IKK γ lacks a catalytic domain but has regulatory function on the IKK complex.

Synthetic peptide located within the following region: LGELQESQSRLEAATKECQALEGRARAASEQARQLESEREALQQQHSVQV

Physical form

Purified antibody supplied in 1x PBS buffer with 0.09% (w/v) sodium azide and 2% sucrose.

The inhibitor of nuclear factor-κB (IκB) kinase (IKK) complex is the master regulator of the NF-κB signaling pathway. The activation of the IKK complex is a tightly regulated, highly stimulus-specific, and target-specific event that is essential for the plethora of...

A role for polyubiquitination in the activation of inhibitor of NF-κB (IκB) kinase (IKK) through a proteasome-independent mechanism was first reported in 1996, but the physiological significance of this finding was not clear until 2000 when TRAF6 was found to...

The IKK kinase complex is the core element of the NF-kappaB cascade. It is essentially made of two kinases (IKKalpha and IKKbeta) and a regulatory subunit, NEMO/IKKgamma. Additional components may exist, transiently or permanently, but their characterization is still unsure....
