Serum-free tumorsphere medium w/o phenol red, e.g. for hormone response-related assays using estrogen/androgen-responsive cells.
Works well for multiple cell lines but make sure to use the right ECM coating! Reproducible performance. Tumorspheres grow well and can be serially passaged (unlimited). Reasonable cost for given performance.
