Can I culture them in DMEM, 10%FBS media?

This product is distributed on behalf of ECACC. The recommended culture medium is MEM-? + 2mM Glutamine + 10% Fetal Bovine Serum (FBS). It may be possible to gradually transition cells to another medium over time. However, this is not recommended upon thawing.

can I know the difference between the two products, why one is DNA-5U another is -1vl? Is DNA-5U just DNA, no cells?

Products ending in '-DNA-5UG', will consist only of 5ug of extracted DNA. Products ending '-1VL' will be one vial of cryopreserved viable cells.
