OptiPrep™ Density Gradient Medium is a sterile and endotoxin-tested solution of 60% (w/v) Iodixanol in the water designed for the in vitro isolation of biological particles. It may be used for fractionation and separation of cell and subcellular organelles.

Application

OptiPrep™ Density Gradient Medium has been used in the non-enveloped virion isolation from bronchoalveolar lavage.
The density gradient is also suitable for:
  • isolation of cells and cell organelles
  • virus purification
  • isolation of lipoproteins and macromolecules
  • purification of neuron cells

Other Notes

60% (w/v) solution of iodixanol in water (sterile).
