Reagent alcohol has been used in most histology and cytology procedures for histology tissue preparation.

Components

95 parts of specially denatured ethyl alcohol 3A with 5 parts of isopropyl alcohol. Final concentrations are ~ 90% ethanol, 5% methanol and 5% isopropanol.
