General description

Anti-JAK1 Antibody detects endogenous levels of total JAK1 protein.
Janus kinase 1 (JAK1) is a non-receptor tyrosine kinase, that belongs to the JAK family. It is located on human chromosome 1p31.3.

Immunogen

The antiserum was produced against synthesized peptide derived from human JAK1.

Immunogen Range: 988-1037

Biochem/physiol Actions

Mutations in janus kinase 1 (JAK1) results in leukemia, breast cancer, lung cancer and HCC (hepatocellular carcinoma). It participates in signaling with many cytokines. JAK1 is also involved in the immune response and the initiation of allergic airway disease.

Features and Benefits

Evaluate our antibodies with complete peace of mind. If the antibody does not perform in your application, we will issue a full credit or replacement antibody. Learn more.

Physical form

Rabbit IgG in phosphate buffered saline (without Mg2+ and Ca2+), pH 7.4, 150mM NaCl, 0.02% sodium azide and 50% glycerol.
