Purmorphamine has been used to study the consequences of upregulation of Hedgehog signalling pathway in Tupfel long fin strain Zebrafish.[1]

Purmorphamine activates the Hedgehog (Hh) signaling pathway, directly binding to the Smoothened (Smo) receptor.
Purmorphamine activates the Hedgehog (Hh) signaling pathway, directly binding to the Smoothened (Smo) receptor. In various studies, purmorphamine has been shown to induce osteoblast differentiation, generate cardiomyocytes from human embryonic stem cells, increase the neuronal differentiation of a human striatal neural stem cell line, and to differentiate human umbilical cord mesenchymal stem cells (hUCMSCs) into motoneurons.

    1. This product is not assigned an expiration date or retest schedule. Products that are robust and extremely stable in their original unopened container are not assigned an expiration date or retest schedule. These products will not have dating reported on either the label or the Certificate of Analysis. Products without an expiration or retest date are covered by a warranty period of 1 year from the date of product shipment.
