General description

The Belly Dancer/Hybridization water bath offers ideal benchtop temperature control and orbital mixing in one versatile unit. The lightweight thermostat-controlled water bath is designed for use on the Belly Dancer platform and its controls are integrated into the Belly Dancer. The orbital hybridization water bath is the ideal instrument for Northern and Southern blots, high stringency filter washing, in situ hybridization, and hot staining and destaining protocols.

Physical form

Microprocessor controls provide precise temperature setting and maintenance: ±0.1 °C over the range 35-72 °C. Quick heating: 3 °C per minute. Safety features include independent thermal runaway switch and gabled 3/16′′ PETG lid to reduce evaporation and provide β-radiation shielding. Chamber is stainless steel with rounded corners for easy cleaning.
