Regarding the dimensions, yes, this is a glass cartridge intended for small PUF plugs. The dimensions for 20556 are:
OD large end = 1"
1" cylinder part before taper = 80mm length
Taper length = 20mm
OD small end = 6mm
ID small end = 4mm
Small end length = 25mm
