Description

General description

TSKgel BioAssist S columns are packed with spherical, polymer beads with approx. 1300Ã… pores. They are surface modified with a strong sulfopropyl cation exchange groups. The large pores allow large biomolecules to freely enter and exit the pores resulting in higher binding capacity and better recovery of activity than other competivie materials. Standard column dimensions are 4.6mm ID x 5cm, while a 10mm ID x 10cm semi-preparative column is available for scale-up. Both columns are made of PEEK to reduce protein adsorption.
