Application

Flunixin meglumine (IC₅₀ = 1 nM) can be used as a drug for animals for the management of intestinal ischaemia, colic, and endotoxemia in horses.

Flunixin meglumine USP reference standard, intended for use in specified quality tests and assays as specified in the USP compendia. Also, for use with USP monographs such as:

Biochem/physiol Actions

COX1, COX2 and PLA2 inhibitor non-narcotic analgesic, anti-pyretic, anti-inflammatory.
