Biochem/physiol Actions

NNRTI (non-nucleoside reverse transcriptase inhibitor) of HIV-1

Nevirapine is an allosteric, non-nucleoside inhibitor of HIV reverse transcriptase (NNRTI). The K_i for inhibition of wild-type RT by Nevirapine is 200 nM.
