MISSION® siRNA Universal Negative Control #1 has been used as a negative control for siRNA transfections.[1][2][3]
Negative controls are an essential part of every siRNA experiment, and here we offer two sizes for your convenience. This negative control has been tested in vitro in Human, Mouse, and Rat cells.

  1. I just purchase one 10nmol Mission siRNA universal negative control #1, but I got the product is dried, How to handle / resuspend it ?

    1. Negative siRNA controls are shipped dry as duplexes and should be resuspended in DNAase, RNAase-free water.

      The 10 nmol quantity should be resuspended with 100 microliters of water, while the 1 nmol tubes should be resuspended with 10 microliters.

      These volumes will result in the buffer being at 1x concentration and the siRNA at a concentration of 100 micromolar (100 pmol per microliter).
