General description

Metric and English scales with 0.1 mm and 0.001 in. subdivisions.
Metric/Imperial. Molded in light, corrosion-resistant plastic. 6 in. or 150 mm measuring capacity; parallel jaws are 1.57 in. (40 mm) deep; reading scales create no parallax. Nonconductive, fine-adjustment thumb roller, two-direction lock, inside-outside jaws, round-rod depth gauge. Upper scale reads in mm, lower scale in inches.

  1. Can the plastic this is made of withstand autoclaving? I am looking to take it into a gnotobiotic facility

    1. This item is not autoclavable. It may be sanitized using ethanol or bleach. Wipe the item with the sanitizing agent, leave on for 10- 30 minutes, then rinse with sterile water. Dry with a soft towel.

  2. I am looking for measuring calipers to step measure the cutting width of a female knife setup. the calipers would need to measure from the inside of one blade to the outside of the next blade. Do you make calipers with the jaws facing the same dirrection?
