TSKgel® HPLC Columns, TOYOPEARL® Bulk Media & Accessories

For over thirty-five years Tosoh Corporation has been a world leader in the HPLC and FPLC analysis and large scale purification of proteins. TSKgel SW-type columns are the industry standard for size exclusion chromatography of biomolecules. Applications using TSKgel columns are continuously published in the scientific journals and are listed in the U.S. Pharmacopoeia. Prepacked columns contain TSKgel media designed for the analysis of proteins, peptides, biopolymers as well as low molecular weight compounds by size exclusion, ion exchange, hydrophobic interaction, reversed phase, affinity, normal phase and HILIC chromatography. The packings in the columns are either silica-based or polymer-based, in particle sizes ranging from 2 μm to 20 μm. Columns are available in analytical to preparative sizes, in stainless steel, PEEK, or glass.
While TSKgel columns play a critical role in the analysis of biomolecules in academia and industry, TOYOPEARL chromatographic resins play an equally important role in the isolation and purification of proteins and biotherapeutic medicines. TOYOPEARL resins can either be purchased from Sigma-Aldrich as bulk quantities in volumes up to and including 1 L, or they can be purchased prepacked in ToyoScreen® or MiniChrom process development columns. ToyoScreen Process Development columns allow for fast evaluation of multiple ligand chemistries. The most popular TOYOPEARL and TSKgel resins are also available in ready-to-use MiniChrom columns and in the economical LabPak product line. Typically, LabPak samplers contain three or four different ligand types offered for a particular chromatography mode. Like ToyoScreen and MiniChrom columns, LabPak products are useful for process development engineers who wish to familiarize themselves with resin physical properties in different buffer systems. The resin volume in LabPak products allow the packing of wider bore and longer columns than what is available in the ToyoScreen product line. This helps the developmental scientist to more accurately determine the dynamic binding capacity and selectivity of each resin.
