Our anion exchange resins are provided on styrene-divinylbenzene (gel) or styrene-divinylbenzene (macroporous). Choose from different mesh sizes (16 to 400) or particle sizes (440 to 660 μm).

Applications of ion exchange chromatography include capturing and removing ions and/or charged molecules including impurities, and can be used for intermediate purification, or final high-resolution purification. These steps may be used on a small sample or large quantities such as in water purification.

Ion exchange chromatography works by separating ions and charged molecules, including proteins, nucleotides, and amino acids, by electrostatic charge. Media with charged functional groups attract and bind oppositely charged ions or molecules and where the latter can be eluted by a media of the same charge but with a greater affinity for the ion exchange media.
