Cancer initiation and progression follow complex changes of cellular architecture and biomechanical property. Cancer cells with more submissive (or "softer") than their healthy counterparts attributed to the reorganization of the complex cytoskeleton structure, may be considered as a potential anti-tumor therapeutic target.
