When the contents of the cylinder have been exhausted Sigma-Aldrich recommends that a licensed waste disposal company be contacted for the appropriate means to dispose of this container. Some residual product might remain in the container and should not be discarded with general waste. Alternatively, Sigma-Aldrich does offer an option for returning empty Sure/Pac cylinders. The customer will be required to pay for the return shipping and a minimal disposal charge, as Sigma-Aldrich does not require these cylinders to be returned.
