Description

Application

Small chain azido-alcohol for click chemistry applications.

3-Azido-1-propanol can be used as a building block for the synthesis of:
• Tris-(hydroxypropyltriazolylmethyl)amine (THPTA) which acts as a stabilizing ligand for Cu(I) to protect it from oxidation and disproportionation in “click” copolymerization.
• Heterofunctional polyesters by 1,3-dipolar cycloaddition reaction.
• Azide-containing cross-linkers.
