Description

Application

• Reagent, high purity analytical reagent, and as a solvent for non-aqueous reaction. Favorable properties include low freezing/boiling points, low viscosity and relatively low toxicity. Acetonitrile is also relatively inert, due to the strong C-C bond which can only be hydrolyzed under extreme conditions, making it an excellent reaction solvent.
• Starting material to synthesize vitamins A and B1, cortisone, carbonate drugs and some amino acids
• Used as a solvent in the production of insulin and antibiotics

Scalability

Within our new Chemiflex Critical Raw Material Program we upgrade critical raw materials to GMP to fulfill highest regulatory standards to ensure product safety and reliability. This new product offers the necessary documentation and quality for late stage API manufacturing & other extended applications.
