Description

General description

The set contains 5 ready-to-use chemical reagents that induce apoptosis through different mechanisms. Actinomycin D, an anti-neoplastic antibiotic, inhibits RNA synthesis. Camptothecin and etoposide are inhibitors of nuclear topoisomerase. Cycloheximide, an active antibiotic against many yeast and fungi, inhibits protein synthesis. Dexamethasone, an active and highly stable glucocorticoid, probably induces apoptosis by binding and activating the intracellular glucocorticoid receptor. Supplied with a data sheet.

This set contains five ready-to-use chemical reagents that induce apoptosis through different mechanisms. The set contains DMSO solutions of Actinomycin D, Streptomyces sp. (10 mM; Cat. No. 114666), Camptothecin, Camptotheca acuminata (2 mM; Cat. No. 208925), Cycloheximide (100 mM; Cat. No. 239764), Dexamethasone (10 mM; Cat. No. 265005), and Etoposide (100 mM; Cat. No. 341205). Recommended dilution for use: 1:1000. Supplied with a data sheet.
