Description

Physical form

Lyophilized from phosphate buffered saline, pH 7.4, containing 1% BSA, and 0.05% sodium azide as a preservative. Reconstitute with 50 μL of sterile deionized water. Centrifuge antibody preparation before use (10,000 xg for 5 min).

Application

Western blot: 1:200-1:600 using ECL on rat and mouse kidney membrane lysate.
Immunohistochemistry on rat testis sections.
Immunocytochemistry: 1:800 using 3T3-L1 adipocytes.
Dilutions should be made using a carrier protein such as BSA (1-3%).
Optimal working dilutions must be determined by the end user.

Specificity

Recognizes Aquaporin 7 (AQP7).

Immunogen

Purified peptide from the N-terminus of rat AQP7 (Accession number P56403).
