Description

Specificity

Recognizes Arp2 (Actin-related protein 2). Arp2 belongs to the Arp2/3 complex, which, when stimulated by WASp/Scar proteins, nucleates actin polymerization from the sides of pre-existing actin filaments. The evolutionarily conserved Arp2/3 complex includes Arp2, Apr3, p41-Arc, p34-Arc, p21-Arc, p20-Arc and p16-Arc.

Immunogen

Synthetic peptide corresponding to amino acids 320-341 of human Arp2. The immunogen sequence is 100% identical in mouse, rat, Xenopus, and chicken.
