Description

General description

Ca(v) 1.3 alpha1 subunit is a part of the Ca(v) 1.3 voltage-gated Ca2+ channel, which has become of key importance in regulating Ca2+ at excitatory synapses. The Ca(v) 1.3 channel controls neurotransmitter release from inner hair cells, release of insulin in the pancreas and pace-making activity in the heart. The Ca(v) 1.3 alpha1 subunit interacts with PDZ and is thought to regulate the activity of the Ca(v) 1.3 channel.

Specificity

Other homologies: Canine (88% sequence homology), Mouse (73% sequence homology).

This antibody recognizes Ca(v) 1.3 alpha1 subunit at the N-terminus.

Immunogen

Epitope: N-terminus

GST-tagged recombinant protein corresponding to the N-terminus sequence of rat Ca(v) 1.3 alpha1 subunit.

Application

Anti-Ca(v)1.3 alpha1 subunit Antibody is an antibody against Ca(v)1.3 alpha1 subunit for use in IH(P) & WB.
