General description

Milliflex® Cassette are ready to use agar-based media to be used with Milliflex® or Milliflex Oasis® system for convenient, rapid and reliable bioburden testing. The prefilled agar cassette helps to streamline the microbial contamination testing workflow with quality assurance and avoiding risks of exogenous contamination. Each plate is a 3-piece assembly containing approximately 10ml of the media. Sabouraud Dextrose Agar is a complex medium for cultivation and isolation of a wide range of yeasts and molds. Dextrose supports the growth of fungi. The medium is supplemented with chloramphenicol to inhibit the growth of accompanying bacterial flora.


Milliflex® Cassette prefilled with Sabouraud Dextrose Agar is used in Bioburden testing and general microbiological analysis of water especially high purity water (electronics, RO, distilled or purified). It is widely used in pharmaceutical, cosmetic and brewing industry.
