NAD(P)H:FMN oxidoreductase is an flavoprotein enzyme which catalyzes flavin redox reaction with flavins as substrate than bound flavins. It can be extracted from bioluminescent bacterium.

Application

Used together with luciferase from Photobacterium fischeri for the determination of NAD(P)H, and for reactions in which NAD(P)H is formed or consumed.

Unit Definition

One unit of FMN-reductase converts 1.0 μmol of FMN and NADH to FMNH2 and NAD per minute at pH 7.0 at 25 °C.

Storage and Stability

Store at 2 to 8 °C. (A decrease in activity of approximately 20% may occur within 12 months.)
