Description

General description

Ethylene glycol butyl ether can find applications as a surfactant in investigating the process of spreading, shrinking and resting regime on the surface of water. It can also find applications as a cosolvent in water-borne paints.

Application

Ethylene glycol butyl ether may be used as an analytical standard for the determination of the analyte in biological samples, environmental samples, cleaning products, detergents, and organic solvent mixtures by gas chromatography (GC) based techniques.
