N,N-Dimethylformamide is an non-volatile, organic solvent, which finds applications in chemical industries as a solvent, additive and intermediate.

Application

N,N-Dimethylformamide has been used as a solvent in determining the lipase activity of the crude protein extracts separated from different plant tissues using sodium dodecyl sulfate (SDS) page assay technique.
