General description

Proteose-Peptone is a highly nutritious peptone. This product is prepared from a mixture of peptones which rich in peptides having higher molecular weight.

Application

Proteose-Peptone is used in media for the production of bacterial toxins. It is also used for the cultivation of bacteria with high nutritional requirements, for example, Corynebacterium, Haemophilus, Neisseria, Pasteurella, Salmonella and Staphylococcus species.
