General description

SpheriCal is a dendrimer-based MALDI calibration kit providing 4 monodisperse mass signals per kit for efficient, highly accurate calibration. By combining excellent long-term stability with evenly-spaced calibration points, SpheriCal helps users increase the frequency and quality of their MALDI-MS calibrations. With a shelf life of years and each kit offering at least 100 calibration spots, SpheriCal offers reliable and accurate calibration across a large mass range, without the shelf-life and storage issues associated with protein or peptide-based systems.

Mass ranges available:

i. SpheriCal Mix Peptide Low (m/z 500 - 1,600)
ii. SpheriCal Mix Peptide Medium (m/z 1,600 - 3,500)
iii. SpheriCal Mix Peptide High (m/z 3,500 - 7,500)
iv. SpheriCalMix Protein Low (m/z 7,500 - 15,000)
v. SpheriCalMix Protein Medium (m/z 15,000 - 30,000)

As calibration standard, matrix and counter ion are pre-mixed in optimized ratios, SpheriCal Mix dramatically expedites sample preparation for calibration in minutes. SpheriCal Mix 9NA is pre-formulated with 9-nitroanthracene matrix for a robust calibration solution.
